gunahgaar hun uska jispe harkat ubaal rakha hai
ukoobat ke bawajood bhi sabka khayaal rakha hai

har pahlu ko nazar-andaaz usne kiya faham ke saath
wo hai meri biwi jo ghar ko sambhaal rakha hai

fitna nahi hai ab bhi bagh-e-chaman me koi
jo tha mere tabiyat me sab kuchh nikaal rakha hai

aadil hai bekasoor hai nazish nahi hai wo
har shai me uska faisla uske aamaal rakha hai

noor-e-tabassum ka sabab kuchh yun hua Azhar
fakat usi ke waste khud ko khangaal rakha hai
